Question about Japanese
Recently, I (an American studying abroad in Japan) volunteered and helped my Japanese friends with their ゼミ project in Fukushima. When we were done doing any group activity, we kept cheering "お疲れ様です!" We also opened our car windows, and shouted it to people as we drove. Also, I noticed that we greeted everyone that walked by, and when we came back to Tokyo, we all on LINE said to each other お疲れ様です over and over again. It felt like, during the weekend, we said these 挨拶 a total of a million times.
In America, I volunteered, went to summer camp, etc., and this extremely enthusiastic "we-are-a-team" attitude was a little too much for me. But personally, this was waaaaaay too much for me. Frankly, it became extremely annoying.
I understand why the Japanese say お疲れ様です, but I don't understand why they have to say it so many times. Once or twice is enough, right? I also wonder if other Japanese people get annoyed by this? What do you all think? Thanks for reading :-)

> why they have to say it so many times.
I'm not annoying it because in the background of the phrase お疲れ様, an attitude which respect others (and cherish it) is exists. I think this is the nature of the Japanese people which to be proud against the world.
