das ist das European Credit Transfer and Accreditation System (das Europäische System zur Übertragung und Akkumulierung von Studienleistungen). Die Studienleistungen sind die Kurse, die man in einem Semester belegt. Und das ECTS hilft den europäischen Studenten dabei, in einem anderen Land zu studieren, denn es gibt ein einziges System für die Evaluierung von ausländischen Kursen.
