Catch a flight and catch a plane sound more natural when you're saying ”i need to catch this plane/ flight” or something like ”catch a plane/ flight if you want to go there”
Take a plane sounds natural also, it could be used as, ”i need to take a plane to Europe” or ”if I want to get there I need to take a plane”
The phrase ’take a flight’ does not sound natural. Instead say, ”hop on a flight”
