How to say немного/мало? Осталось немного печенья. Осталось совсем немного времени. Там было мало людей. У него мало одежды.
I know "short of". Is it ok to all those sentences and how alse can I say?

Немного/мало translates to "a little", but instead of using "a little", English speakers tend to use "not much/not many/not a lot/few/some" etc..
"There are a few cookies left."
"There were a few people/There weren't many people."
"He doesn't have a lot of clothes."
"There's a little time left." is definitely a commonly used phrase, though.
