I can understand a sentence when I read it,but I can't understand it when someone said it to me!when I listen to someone,I always try two translate it into chinese word

Try to think in English instead of in Chinese. You may try talking to urself when you are alone, like say whatever you mind is processing or just some random stuff.

Don't make learning English like doing a job. You first need to be interested in it. I suggest u watch some dramas or movies in English without the subtitles. I was born in Beijing but I live in Virginia^^

thanks for your advise!我确实把英语当科学再搞,不过英语基础没打好,有时候简单的词都想不起来。用看电影的方法也学过英语,但是每个电影也就看一两遍,真的听懂的没有十分之一,能请教你具体是怎么操作的吗?ps.现在你看中文没障碍吧?

基础的单词知道了大概意思弄明白就好。没有必要每句都听懂,多听就会说,多看就会写。平时多用英语思考一定会提高的。
