Because of the very small number of Muslims living in Japan, most of the Japanese don't seem to have enough knowledge of Muslim. Generally speaking, people tend to be timid when facing an unfamiliar thing. This timidness or hesitation might look discriminative. I don't think that Japanese people are so discriminative, though.
I hope that lots of Muslims come and stay, or live in Japan as it will enhance our resilience and eventually lead to a better nation, in which people respect each other with harmony like South East Asian countries.
