We normally use "Have you been to London?". The use of the word 'gone' is not correct

@hazelssl That's not strictly correct regarding, 'gone'. You could say, "Why aren't you at work, have you gone to London ?". "Have you been to London" is more related to enquiring as to whether someone has ever visited London recently or some time in the past. But they may no longer be there.

Hav u been means the work done completely but in Hav you gone means it starts but not completed / work status not define exactly

UseĀ beenĀ to describe completed visits. If you have visited a place on holiday and then returned you haveĀ beenĀ there. If someone visits a place but has not come home they haveĀ goneĀ there.

They're basically the same. "Have you been to London?" is better English. However, some people from America, Northern England and Australia might use gone. I hope that helps!

When you say "John has been to London" it means he has gone there and he has come back.
When you say John has gone to London" it means he has not come back yet.
