How tall are Finnish girls in their late teens and 20s?
How tall are Finnish girls in their late teens and 20s?
I'm moving to Finland soon but I was told that I would be not the average height there and I would have a hard time finding clothes because I'm 1.70m tall. Is this true? Be honest, how tall are the younger women these days in Finland? (older generations are shorter I'm sure). What percent do you think would be shorter than me and what percent do you think would be taller? Just guess based on your personal experiences living there, doesn't have to be accurate. I want to be prepared before I move there on what to expect.

Stats say that 168cm is average for women in Finland. Most I have seen are around 170cm so you should be more than just fine. It's really not uncommon to find some 150s and 190s but they are far from norm.

Average height of women in Finland is 166cm based on a survey, but i’m 174cm and there are lots of people taller than me. Some people are also really short like 150-160cm tall. It really depends.

@MelinaRae Yes they are usually shorter than me, but i have a few girl friends that are over 170cm tall. I’m still most of the time the tallest girl.
