poi, budo/buda = husband (slang)
Woman call their husband 'budo' or 'buda' and man call their wife 'budi'. Sometimes even girlfriend and boyfriend use buda budi.
Budo means old man.
Budi means old woman.
The actual word is 'budho' बूढो and 'budhi' बूढी but colloquially pronounced as 'budo' बुडो and budi 'बुडी'.
'Poi' is usually used by someone else to refer your husband. If a woman name is Jeni then people will call her husband 'Jeniko poi' (husband of Jeni) . The female is called 'Joi'. I usually hear 'poi' used by people of rural villages.
'Poi' and 'budo' is informal.
Always use 'shrimaan' or 'pati' to introduce husband.
