Question about Thailand

I ate tom yam kung. and I start to like this
but, the smell is more strange than what I thought.
so I think thai people eat this food with another food or side dish. if then, what is it?

I think mostly people eat it with fried food like omelette or fried fish.

Mainly, Thai people eat every food with rice. Because the test will be more mellowed to eat with it.
In Thai culture, we have many kind of food in each meal especially in dinner. Many of Thai people like to eat spicy soup with another food because it make them feel refresh.
