I would say things here are mostly cheap and it's kind of easy to get a job if you aren't such a demanding man.. some of the Thai people still look down on the poor or those who work in a common position such as taxi driver, housekeeper, security guard, merchant, gardener and so on.. bad people are all over the place, so just avoid them and pretend like they don't exist hahaha..

At first, the cost of living is cheaper than the other developed countries, but for Thai people it is just ok. To find jobs, I would say it is pretty easy if you don't want such a very good job like engineer, doctor, blah blah blah. For me I do respect in every jobs. In the old generation of Thai people tough their children to study more and more to get an honor jobs like teacher, doctor something like that, and so sad they tough their children to look down at some jobs...

@gihadsam As a foreigner who has been living and working in Thailand for many years I can share my personal experience:
- Life in Thailand is easy and relaxed. People are friendly and nice. Of course you can meet some bad people but it is mostly an exception than the rule.
- it’s not expensive to live in Thailand if you make your money abroad and spend it in Thailand. Anyway there are different levels of living, it depends on your expectations and on what you’ve got used. You can eat in high class restaurant or you can eat street food (which is very delicious and affordable), or you can buy food at local markets and cook at home. You can rent cozy room in a nice guesthouse which is very cheap or you can rent a villa with private pool next to the ocean. Also it depends which city you want to live. For example touristic places like Phuket are more expensive.
- you can find job, but you have to get work permit (not many companies are ready to provide it, because it’s very expensive). And many jobs in Thailand are restricted for foreigners. The most common job for foreigners is in touristic industry.
