「ほうがいい」の「いい」は他の形容詞に変わってもいいですか。
ほうがいい (✔︎)
傘を持っていったほうがいいです。
(It's better if you bring an umbrella with you.)
ほうが早い(?)
この道を行ったほうが早いです。
(It's faster if you pass through this road.)
ほうがべんり(?)
この椅子を使ったほうがべんりです。
(It's more comfortable if you use this chair.)
それに、「〜のほうが」という意味なんですか。
すみません、日本語まだ上手ではないです。

どの文章もとても自然です。
〜のほうが、というのは、他のものと比較しているときに使います。
例えば、一つ目の文章は、「傘を持っていかないよりも、傘を持っていったほうがいいです "it's better if you bring an umbrella than not bring one"」とも書き換えられます。
元々は「〜するよりも、〜したほうがいい」という言葉から来ていますが、単に「〜したほうがいい」とだけ言う場合も多いです。
