Question about English (US)
What does Charming mean?
What does Charming mean?
Why did you plug it back in?
Charming.
No, unlike you, I didn't engage, and I avoided a fight.
So all is well on my side of the street.

@Raccoon0120 Yes that link worked. So yes, the redheaded character says "Charming" to the older character because he's saying it sarcastically. He's basically saying "Cute" or "That's funny" -- meaning the redheaded character thinks his idea is better, and the other character's plan, to engage and fight, is silly and foolish.

I would need more context to say for certain. However, there is a way "Charming" is often used sarcastically, and I think that's how it's being used here.
In this context, it seems like it means that person #1 is being sarcastic and condescending. It means person #1 thinks person #2 did something foolish, because person #2 was too passive. It looks like in this context, person #1 got into a fight and person #2 avoided a fight, and person #1 is making fun of person #2 for not being more aggressive.
Feel free to ask for clarification. I know that was a long reply.

@wintertulip19 Thank you for your patient reply. Could you click the link to see a short clip(24sec)? There is more context about this conversation. I think I kind of get what you mean ,here's my understanding, could you double check for me?
Maybe lt's like A think it's a smart idea to not plug it back in, but B doesn't think so.So B says "Charming" sarcastically, and he doesn't think that is a good idea in his heart. He thinks instead of not pluging it back in, his decision- not join a fight -is a more wise one.

@Raccoon0120 I'd be happy to check the video, but Canva keeps saying it's experiencing issues and won't let me view it. But it sounds like you understand it correctly!
I will check tomorrow about Canva.
Good work and let me know if you have any other questions ^.^

@wintertulip19 Thank you so much. Before your explanation, I was so confused because when I looked up the word in the dictionary, the meanings are all positive. But I found it weird to put the good meaning in this case. Now I get it. Thanks for your help.It was really helpful.

@Raccoon0120 Yes, sarcasm is such a difficult thing when learning a new language because using words sarcastically is hardly ever explained in the dictionary! I'm glad I could help. If you have any more questions let me know!

@Raccoon0120 Hi again, I thought of something else to help explain how it's used. "Charming", used like the dictionary definition, means "attractive", but when used sarcastically, the person can mean the exact opposite, e.g. "annoying". In this clip, the redheaded character thinks the older character is annoying as well as having a foolish plan. I hope this helps!
