I really wish there was an easy answer I could give you. Prepositions are simply frustrating to learn and you do have learn by experience. They do have basics definitions/uses that are relatively easy to remember/understand. Outside of that, they get illogical in a hurry. A search by topic is useful to some extent. Example.
